Licensed Practical Nurse ( Immediate need for night staff)

Bayshore is seeking passionate Licensed Practical Nurses to provide in-home one-on-one care. We have an immediate need for night staff but those with other availabilities are welcome to apply.

Available Locations: Various locations throughout Winnipeg

The Work You Will Do:
• Provide nursing care to a diverse group of clients within the community
• Perform routine and specialized nursing care based on an established care plan or medical directives
• Work one-on-one with each client with more time to focus on their physical, emotional, and safety needs
• Opportunity to provide direction, and support, to paraprofessional employee, (HCAs, HSWs, etc.) as appropriate
• Identify and document changes to clients care plans according to company standard of care and provincial legislation.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality of client and corporate information.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
• Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
• Must be prepared to respond to emergency situations using excellent decision-making skills and prioritize tasks.
• Able to organize workload and respond effectively and efficiently to unexpected workload situations.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for commuting
• A clear Police Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Clear Tuberculosis screening

**Bayshore is committed to a high-quality and safe environment for both our staff and clients/patients. At Bayshore all new hires must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by Health Canada (e.g., two doses of a two-dose vaccine series or one dose of a single-dose vaccine series); AND have received the final dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the official start date of hire.
