Borderland Co-op is hiring a Summer Student in our Agro Department located in Broadview, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Agro Manager, the Student - Agronomist will work closely with the Agro Team while consulting with and providing agronomic support, services, leading knowledge and appropriate recommendations to our valued growers and customers of our Co-op. The successful candidate will work to provide products and services while ensuring that the business operates sustainably while actively seeking out sales and growth opportunities.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Agriculture and have:
• A degree or diploma or currently enrolled in Agriculture or Agribusiness
• A valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Previous Farm or Agricultural experience will be an asset
• Willing to obtain TDG, WHIMIS and safety training
• Sound knowledge of new technology developments in the industry
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
