WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Diagnose, troubleshooting, repair, and testing various types of emergency vehicles for faults and malfunctions.
• Conduct inspections and mechanical assessments on emergency vehicles.
• Complete quality installation of the power distribution system and wiring harness.
• Programming and coding by modifying software to alter or change certain features and capabilities of the power distribution systems.
• Perform repairs and maintenance activities on engines, HVAC system, transmissions, exhaust system, hydraulic and electrical system etc.
• Ensure that safe work practices are followed in all day-to-day activities by taking part in and contributing to safety initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• Education and/or experience in heavy duty mechanic equipment is required.
• Strong electrical knowledge and experience are required.
• Understanding of automotive electrical systems and 12-volt power distribution is required.
• Experience with industry specific software or the ability to learn new technology.
• Ability to be analytical and solve complex and unusual problems.
• Ability to build relationships and work effectively with co-workers, management, outside organizations and clients.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
