Ag-Quest focuses on research in the following areas: Environmental Fate, Pesticide Efficacy, Variety Evaluations, Plant Breeding, Demonstrations, Disease Nurseries, Agronomics and Insect Screens. Each research season Ag-Quest employs Research Technicians to assist Research Associates with field research trials. During the summer term Technicians will work as part of a team and independently to establish and maintain small plot research trials and other related activities. Technicians may assist by operating plot equipment including tractors, seeders, and other implements as well as trucks and trailers. Technicians will assist with data collection and record keeping and general Station duties.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license
• Post-secondary students or non-students
• Strong communication skills and detail-oriented
• Ability to work extended hours as required
Assets:
• Any type of previous research or farm experience (include on your application)
• Enrolled in or completion of science-based programs
• Comfortable working with small plot equipment, including tractor, seeder, sprayer and combine
