Senior Chef
Overview
Darling cocktail bar is seeking a senior chef to work in our establishment who will report to and directly work with managerial staff. The senior chef will provide excellent customer service and arranged dishes to guests. The senior chef will take pride in preparing and cooking high grade cuisine, managing and ensuring the quality of dishes including aesthetic, integrity and portion control while considering allergies and food preferences. The position will require the training and progression of other staff. The senior chef will be required to work alongside and collaboratively with other staff members. The senior chef must follow the guidelines and strictly adhere to all food handling, health and safety protocols. The senior staff will work together with the hospitality team to offer great experiences to our customers and a healthy and safe environment for everyone.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Enrollment in culinary arts or diploma in culinary arts is preferred.
Food Handling Certification is required, candidates who do not possess a current certification can be acquired
Knowledge of kitchen procedures.
The ability to manage multiple priorities while attending to details and maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Good customer service skills.
Experience is preferred, however enrollment in a program will be considered as well.
