Underwriting Assistant
Overview
Working under general supervision, the Underwriting Assistant is responsible for providing general office support to the underwriting department while providing a superior service experience.
The position is a summer student role, with an anticipated start date around April 24, 2023, and anticipated end date around September 1, 2023.
Job Responsibilities
Perform data entry activities.
Assist with broker inquiries.
Distribution of work to underwriters.
Perform follow up activities for policy transactions.
Work effectively towards the goals of the team.
Build positive working relationships with internal and external parties.
Perform other duties as assigned.
