Watershed District Technician Assistant
Overview
Assist with CD programs such as well capping and shock chlorinating wells
Able to drive for a few hours at a time without rests
Transport small pull behind tree planting equipment
Conduct site inspections for program eligibility
Willing to work with a minimum of supervision or as a team
Capable of carrying heavy loads, up to 50 lbs.
Planning and organizational skills
Experience with Conservation or farm work
Must possess a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s Licen
Qualifications
Focus on:
GIS/Microsoft Office computer skills
Land surveying (transit/laser/RTK)
Assisting current Works Supervisor on projects
