Leadhand - Underground Utilities Excavation
Overview
To participate as part of a working team within the Underground Utilities Department that performs, schedules, coordinated and monitors the construction and maintenance repairs of the City of Brandon’s water distribution, wastewater collection systems as well as land drainage systems.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
• Grade 12, G.E.D., or Mature High School Diploma;
• Must possess a valid and subsisting Class 3 with Air Endorsement Province of Manitoba driver’s license;
• Must possess a Class 2 Water Distribution and Class 2 Wastewater Collection Certification from the Manitoba Water and Waste Association; with the ability to obtain Class 3 Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Certification within 24 months of appointment.
• Any other certification as required by provincial legislation;
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the Underground Utility Section.
