PRODUCTION SCHEDULER/PROGRAMMER
Reporting to the Production Control Supervisor, our Production Scheduler/Programmer is responsible for the accurate and complete transfer of CNC data files to manufacturing work centres and coordinates/schedules these centres to efficiently meet work demands. Working in a highly automated environment, the Production Scheduler/Programmer works closely with the Production teams and monitors the availability of materials, employees and equipment to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
Qualifications
This role requires:
• Grade 12 diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD programs and Nesting software is a requirement.
• Three to five years of experience in a large office, construction and/or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and work flow
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work well with various team members of the organization.
• Attention to detail, time and priority management are necessary for success.
• Excellent time and priority management skills to preform daily work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
