Marketing Co-Ordinator

Overview

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator
Type: Part-Time to Full-Time; Year-Round (Reduced Winter Hours). Flexible with some work-from-home opportunities.
Wage: Dependent on Experience and Performance
Start Date: ASAP
Reports to: Management
Purpose: The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and execution of all marketing efforts across both Livingstone Landscaping Ltd. and Livingstone Outdoor.

To be considered for an interview, please submit a 15 to 30-minute pitch outlining previous social media posts, the Company’s marketing weaknesses, and a corresponding action plan for enacting improvements. Please ensure you indicate what programs you are familiar with, software interactions you have, and what POS system experience you have. Please also outline your background, education, experiences, and references.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain a monthly Marketing Calendar that includes all key promotions aligned with seasonal changes.
• Maintain marketing budget for expenses like wages, ads, signage, trade shows, etc.
• Build our social media brand through engaging content and promotions across multiple platforms.
• Weekly Management meeting.
• Monthly performance meeting to present key metrics and promotion results to Management. Key Performance indicators and actual budget reports are required for this meeting.
• Create artwork and signage.
• Capture media using phone, camera, drone, and customer artwork.
• Organize & maintain storage of the media library - by year, vendor, category, etc.
• Work with outside firms for marketing materials when needed.
• Prepare labor & material budgets and track budgets VS results reporting on promotions.
• Schedule & coordinate promotional events.
• Generate leads and capture data metrics for calculating reports – i.e., cost per customer, etc.
• Manage SEO and Google Ads campaigns.
• Push development of our e-com experience and grow our e-com presence.
• Work with Store Manager to enhance store layout and signage.
• Work with Landscaping Management to develop ad campaigns for targeted products and services at optimum seasonal timelines.

Qualification Requirements:
• Capable of high levels of analytical and organizational skills and planning.
• Ability to perform complex calculations and identify cost and success metrics for evaluating marketing campaigns.
• Strong ability to understand operational business factors such as seasonal products/services, margins, product advantages, SWOT Analysis, etc.
• Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for what looks appealing and professional.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Photography and design skills are required.

Education and/or Experience:
• Strong understanding of contracts/negotiating contracts as an asset
• Strong knowledge of the landscaping industry– a considerable asset
• Experience in a retail environment is an asset
• Previous experience with Marketing or Management
• Background in a numbers-based role or industry is desirable (i.e., Financial, Accounting)
• Must be proficient with Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel), QuickBooks, and other modern business software.
• Experience with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter is required.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License

Physical Conditions:
The duties of the Marketing Coordinator may include the following:
• Uses hands, arms, and shoulders when using various promotional and retail products (daily).
• Sits at a desk, using a keyboard and office equipment (daily).
• Lifts and/or move up to 50 lbs. (occasionally).
• Ability to cross on the uneven ground during construction site visits (occasionally).
• Ability to work outside when doing site visits in various weather conditions (occasionally)

Psychological/Stress Conditions:
The workload and environment do not generally increase the employee’s emotional or stress levels.
• Interruptions and requests from multiple areas (daily).
• Multitasking (daily).
• Proofreading, repetitive movements (daily).
• Job demands versus time constraints (daily).
• Periods of intense concentration when meeting deadlines and during peak periods (occasionally).
• Participates in group decision-making and projects (occasionally).

Work Conditions:
The Marketing Coordinator works independently and in a team environment.
• Works in a shared and consultative manner with other employees (daily).
• Wide variety of tasks requiring the ability to manage multiple unrelated projects and make independent decisions (daily).
• Self-motivated and quality have driven me to perform independent projects (daily).
• High degree of tasks may be done from home, but the home environment must be conducive to uninterrupted concentration for long periods.
