Transport Truck Mechanic
Overview
We are looking to add a Transport Truck Mechanic to join our Fleet Repair and Maintenance team in Winnipeg, MB. As part of our experienced and cohesive team, this position is responsible to inspect and repair equipment in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be assigned the following shift: Sun, Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs – 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
*Weekend shift premium of $2.00 per hour will apply to sat/sun shifts.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Journeyman, Red Seal Transport Truck Mechanic or an experienced Apprentice with willingness to complete
Experience repairing and servicing truck & trailing equipment
MGI Certificate (or experience, and willingness, to obtain)
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members
Must have own tools and safety boots
Demonstrated safety knowledge
Commitment to continuous learning
Must be physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs., kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time)
The successful candidate will require reliable transportation as our facility is located outside of public transport
*Pre-employment drug testing is mandatory for this position as it is deemed safety sensitive.
