Class 3 Driver

Alternative Landscaping is hiring Class 3A Drivers.

About the job:
-Operate and drive a variety of trucks/equipment to complete construction projects.
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle and maintain assigned vehicle.
-Plan delivery travel schedules and routes.
-Water plantings, load, and unload cargo.
-Record information on pick-ups and deliveries, vehicle mileage and fuel usage and report any incidents or problems encountered.

About you:
-Able to provide excellent customer service.
-Able to perform physically demanding work.
-Able to understand and follow instructions.
-Knowledgeable about safe work practices and procedures.
-Hold a Class 3A driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:
-Work is performed in a vehicle and outdoors in all weather conditions.
-Occasional heavy labour.
-10 hour shifts standard; some weekend work may be required.
-This is a seasonal, full-time position that may lead into a year-round opportunity.
-Wage is dependent upon experience

-While occasional weekend work may be required, our norm is 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
