Resource Technician
Overview
Under the supervision of the District Manager, the applicant is responsible to the Board and Manager. The applicant will preform a variety of technical duties associated with the implementation of Watershed District programs, including, but not limited to Growing Outcomes in Watersheds (GROW), Prairie Watersheds Climate Program (PWCP), and Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program (RALP).
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education in a Natural Resource Management, Agriculture, Land and Water, Environmental Sciences or related experience
• Must possess a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License and willingness to obtain Class 3 Manitoba Drivers License
• Experience in conservation programs and/or agricultural programs, with field experience
