THE COMPANY:

THE POSITION:
• Visit clients after delivery to support
o Controls and operation of the equipment
o Machine connectivity and John Deere Operations Center
o Maintenance and warranty.
• In Field Machine Optimization
o Operational training for customers and their staff.
o Maximize the performance of the equipment.
o Ensure that the equipment is collecting and recording machine and agronomic.
• Post Season Technology Reviews
o Review customer equipment data in Operation Center to validate performance and plan for further productivity enhancements.
o Review customer Agronomic data to ensure accuracy.
• Off Season Customer visits
o On farm customer visits to discuss equipment and technology challenges and solutions.

• Assist the salesperson with recommendations as requested regarding configuring equipment for quoting purposes.
• Assist in helping with product demonstrations as requested.
• Assist in organizing and holding product field days as requested.
• Record all lost sales information in the customer profile system.
• Assist in putting on customer and staff training clinics, was well as providing one-on-one product training.
• Review “customer issues” arising out of customer visits, calls, and surveys and follow through to resolution.
• Work with John Deere and other suppliers as dealership representative to help resolve customer product issues.
• Respond to customer enquiries for assistance.
• Review customer profiles as part of visits and note changes that need to be made. Provide updates to Administration for data entry on a regular basis.
• Promote dealership specials and promotions as part of customer calls.
• Keep current on product knowledge and benefits of specific machines.
• Keep current on trends and developments in agriculture and continue to develop through courses, reading and other means of learning.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong people skills with a high degree of ethics.
• Industry or agricultural industry background – minimum of 4-5 years.
• Strong computer skills and good understanding of the John Deere systems and Salesforce.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
• Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products with a basic knowledge of agriculture.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work in a group and individually.
