Overview

Areas of responsibility include:
-Facilitates the smooth functioning of our child care centre, providing a safe and respectful space for families and children.
-Encompasses an array of interpersonal skills such as collaboration and teamwork with the ability to establish working relationships with parents and staff.
-Ability to interpret and apply legislation and policies. This includes ensuring licensing requirements are up to date.
-Capable of operating the centre within the approved budget.
-Able to coordinate scheduling and payroll.
-Effective conflict resolution skills along with oral and written communication.
-Organizational and prioritizations skills in a dynamic work environment.
-Experience with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks is an asset.
-Be honest, kind, friendly, and enthusiastic.

Qualifications

Must have a Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Developmental Studies, and Early Childhood Educatior III Certification.
Other suitable combinations of education, and ECE II's will be considered with a plan in place to attain their ECE III classification.
A minimum of 2 years experience required in family child care, nursery schools, and or a child care program, with related supervisory experience.
Must have a clear Criminal record and Child Abuse Registry check
Must have current First Aid and Cpr
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, have a valid drivers license, access to a vehicle, with the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba.
