Lifeguard/Instructor
Overview
This position entails standard lifeguarding and instructing duties at Brandon’s
Community Sportsplex. Successful incumbents will be required to provide instruction in
the many pool programs offered at the facility. Lifeguard/Instructors are responsible for
the general maintenance, care, and conditions of the pool area. Incumbents will work a
variety of shifts during days, evenings, and weekends which may include split shifts.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
• Standard (Intermediate) First Aid and CPR Level C certificate;
• Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard award;
• Swim for Life and or Lifesaving Instructor.
