Meat Supervisor/Meat Cutter
Overview
Pembina Consumers Co-op is currently recruiting for opportunities in our Meat Departments at both grocery store locations - in Souris MB and in Crystal City MB.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
The successful candidate will provide an exceptional level of customer service, providing information, assistance, eye appealing displays and pricing of product.
Maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company, industry, and governmental policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
Responsible for ordering and preparation of meat, fish and seafood including cleaning, cutting, filleting, and trimming.
Performs general housekeeping duties in compliance Pembina Co-op’s Health & Safety program and government food and sanitation standards.
Training of existing and new team members when necessary, and any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation;
Experience working independently and an ambitious self starter;
Ability to work effectively within a team;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, organization and planning skills;
Journeyman Meat Cutter Certificate is not required but would be an asset.
