Head Cook - Rock Lake United Church Camp
Overview
Rock Lake United Church Camp Inc. is a summer camp affiliated with the United Church of Canada providing camping experiences for children aged 4-15 years old. The camp is located on the north shore of Rock Lake, approximately 150 km. southwest of Winnipeg. Our goal is to provide youth with a fun-filled camping experience in a beautiful outdoor setting. Some of the camp activities include kayaking, archery, canoeing, hiking, nature science, dramas and skits, dances and campfires.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* must be a minimum of 18 years of age
* must have Food Handlers Level 1 Certificate before the start of employment
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
* meal preparation for large and small groups
* preparing meal options for a variety of dietary needs
* ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining area
* menu planning and grocery ordering with assistance from the Kitchen Committee
