Knox United is looking to hire a Children’s Program Coordinator to support, empower, and equip our children on their journey of faith and build on existing programming. Please Share!

Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate the Sunday morning program for children in preschool through grade 6 and prepare to lead the grades 3 to 6 group most Sundays of the month.
+ Strengthen connections with children and families through activities and events. Examples include intergenerational events, a monthly event for children in grades 3-6.
+ Build on the existing program while adapting to the needs of current SKC participants and families.
+Foster regular communication with families through established channels.
+ Work closely with our Christian Education Committee, the Minister, and the Youth Director in program planning.

Qualifications:
+ Appreciation for the culture and commitments of The United Church of Canada, the goals and mission of Knox, and our Affirming Ministry.
+ Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.
+ Interest in sharing your faith journey.
+ Competency in the areas of organization, communication, and leadership. Skills in digital technology, computer programs, and social media.
+ Ability and commitment to work with people from various backgrounds and with different beliefs.
+ Desire to be a team player and flexibility in working with volunteers.
