Technical Support Student
Overview
Under the general direction of the surveyor, the student will assist with survey layout and as-builts for Manitoba Hydro’s Brandon Construction Division.
Duties
• Topographic survey as-builts
• Construction survey layout
• Drive to various locations in the province
• Maintain and operate survey equipment
• Vehicle maintenance and cleaning

Qualifications
Qualifications
• Successful completion of 1st year Civil Technology program as a minimum
• Physically able to work on construction sites in all types of weather conditions
• Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Possess a valid class 5 driver's license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
• Required to work safely and follow Manitoba Hydro safety rules and practices.
• Must be able to travel throughout the province with possible overnight stays.
