Overview
This role will assist with the research, development and evaluations of Corteva Agriscience™ crop protection products. As a research intern, you will have the opportunity to learn about the features, benefits and characteristics of Corteva Agriscience™ products, and gain experience in safe and proper product application.
• Responsibilities:
o Agronomic research plot management
Including training to operate research farm machinery
Seeding
Spraying
Facilitating field tour activities
Harvest
o Research Assessments
Application of seed treatments, fertilizers and crop protection products on experimental plots
Data collection - weed, insect, disease and crop response observations
Assess, record, analyze experimental test results
Work with new technology in agronomy and precision phenotyping

Qualifications
o Minimum of one-year university training preferably in agriculture, science or business
o Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player
o Demonstrate problem solving skills
o Commitment to safety
o Ability to work extended hours during peak season
o Agricultural background beneficial but not required
o Valid driver’s license
o Class 3 License or willingness to obtain Class 3 License is an asset
