This position will be part of a child care director team and responsible for 5-8 child care programs.

Office location: 51 Balmoral St., Winnipeg

Qualifications

Are you the right fit?

Able to manage multiple school age programs and their employees
Experience recruiting, training and coaching supervisors and staff
Experience developing and managing budgets
Able to apply ELCC and the Y’s policies, procedures, regulations and standards
Able to develop and maintain partnerships with school divisions and administration
Proven ability to build rapport with children and their families

What else do you need?

3-5 years in a childcare setting with supervisory and/or management experience
Manitoba Early Childhood Educator Level 2 or 3
Knowledge of child care regulations, best practices and school age child development
Understanding of emergent curriculum and staff leadership development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work a variety of shifts and various locations
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification
Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check
