Neepawa-Gladstone Co-op is hiring an ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR at or AGRO OFFICE in NEEPAWA, MANITOBA

We are looking for: Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the successful candidate’s primary accounting responsibilities will include review, variance analysis, and preparation of financial statements. Reconcile accounts, assist with internal and external auditing functions, Assist with our annual budget and periodic forecasting. Develop and/or assist with reporting requirements and POS system processes. Development and maintenance of standard operating procedures. Supervision of Agro Administration Staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in the accounting field.
- Proven mathematical and organizational skills; ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to efficiently prioritize responsibilities within tight deadlines in a fast paced, team-orientated environment.
- Working towards Bachelor of Commerce or Business Admin with a major in accounting.
- Must be bondable.
- Proficient software aptitude including MS Office, knowledge of POS systems considered an asset.
- Ability to identify errors and fix process information correctly and in a timely manner.
- Require a Class 5 driver’s license for inter-department travel.
