Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will work collaboratively with the sales team to execute marketing strategies, create engaging digital content, and support various marketing projects and events. This role is essential in brand development, customer engagement and lead generation to expand MSP[RS] Resistant Starch’s market presence.
The duties of the role will include:
• Brand Management & Communications
Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and marketing materials.
Develop brochures, flyers, blog posts and branded promotional product to support campaigns.
Assist with internal and external communications, including any promotional content.
• Event & Trade Show Coordination
Assist with planning attendance at trade shows and other events, including marketing materials, promotions, and booth setup (on occasion).
Engage with customers and industry partners to maximize event impact.
• Market Research & Lead Generation
Assist with market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
Support the sales team with CRM management.
Monitor and report on competitor marketing strategies.
• Marketing Administration & Vendor Programs
Support vendor marketing programs by ensuring compliance with branding and promotional requirements.
Assist with administrative marketing tasks, such as coordinating marketing invoices, tracking budgets, and managing promotional materials.
• Digital & Content Marketing
Create engaging graphics, videos, and marketing materials to enhance brand awareness.
Develop and manage social media content, website updates, and email campaigns.
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 1 – 2 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or a similar role. Applicants with a background, or education and training in agriculture are highly preferred. A specific focus on livestock would be an added bonus.
• Confident self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail with a flare for creativity and an eye for design.
• Proficiency in email, business, and marketing tools and content creation platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc).
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
