Reporting to the IT Development Lead, the Software Developer is responsible to create, test, and maintain MASC’s custom applications, APIs and integrations to other applications. They will work closely with a team of developers, designers, and quality assurance using Agile and DevOps development practices. The focus will be the timely delivery of quality software that meets the requirements of the product owner. The Software Developer will maintain an exceptional understanding of modern development practices and technologies through ongoing training opportunities while contributing extensively to MASC’s evolving development practices.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related discipline, and computer programming experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
- Experience developing with C# or a comparable language.
- Experience developing web applications (ASP.NET MVC 5/HTML/CSS/JS)
- Experience querying and developing against a relational database.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience creating automated tests, is an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, is an asset.
- Experience supporting software, is an asset.
- Knowledge of UML or BPMN modeling techniques, is an asset.
- Cloud development experience, particularly in Microsoft Azure, is an asset.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful web services, is an asset.
- Experience integrating with third-party software, is an asset.
- Experience as a Software QA Tester, is an asset.
- Ability to communicate verbally in both official languages (French and English), is an asset.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred.
- Must have the ability to travel within the Province of Manitoba as required.

SALARY: $69,714 to $92,466 per annum
