Overview
Experienced butcher with 1 year + experience in a high-volume environment. Proficient in all aspects of meat cutting, including breaking of various cuts from primal and sub-primal cuts, slicing, de-boning. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet demanding production goals.
Experienced in operating and maintaining various meat processing equipment, including bandsaws, grinders, and slicers. Ability to read and prepare meats to customer requirements. Have a strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and be detail oriented.
Skilled in maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to strict food safety standards and contributing to a positive team environment
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
2. Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role.
3. Certificate in Butchery or relevant training is preferred.
4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food handling and storage.
5. Strong knife skills and the ability to safely operate various cutting and grinding equipment are crucial
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
