Overview
Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Winnipeg , as the Millwright / Mechanic :
Modify, repair, or replace parts of machinery to maintain production capacity.
Inspect, lubricate machine parts and determine future maintenance requirements
Perform changeover, setup and adjustments on production equipment
Participate in a safety meeting and contribute to a departmental safety action plan
Participate in major projects, installations, and start-ups
Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine spare parts requirements
Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all safety procedures
Ensure flexibility to respond to maintenance needs off-hours
Supervise outside contractors when on-site
Qualifications
There's nobody quite like you! Respect your true nature by putting forward your strengths:
1-3 years experience in a manufacturing facility (corrugated, printing, packaging would be an asset)
Inter-Provincial Red Seal Millwright preferred
Welding experience would be an asset
Good understanding of safety procedures
Good analytical and attention to detail skill
Must have own tools
Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines
