Field Solutions Summer Research Associate
Location: Guelph
A day in the life…
As a highly motivated Field Solutions Summer Research Associate you will join our Bayer powered by Impres team for a 4-month summer contract. In this position, you will work within a field research team to execute field crop research trials that generate performance data required for commercialization of new crop protection technologies. You will assist field agronomists with the execution of product development trials relating to the characterization of seed treatment, herbicide, and fungicide products on a diverse selection of field crops; working alongside agronomists on data collection and data management. You will also participate in duties such as site maintenance, field preparation, seeding, spraying, and mowing.

Qualifications
What you bring to the table…
• You have agronomic knowledge attained through pursuing your degree in Agriculture or similar program coupled with experience in the agriculture industry.
• Enthusiasm and interest in gaining field research experience
• You can work independently and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
• You are attentive and deliver results.
• Experience with operation of farm equipment and trailering equipment is an asset.
• You prioritize working in and supporting a safe work environment.
• You possess a valid driver’s license
• You are willing to obtain a Class G endorsement (AB, SK) or Class 3 (MB), or a full G license (ON)
