Your days will include:
• Collaborating with the Sous-Chef and Cafeteria Manager to ensure smooth operations in the cafeteria, HyLife Pork Lounge, and Food Trailer.
• Estimating and procuring food and supplies for various events, including catering, corporate events, and seasonal fairs.
• Coordinating marketing to arrange equipment for events.
• Maintaining the highest quality standards in preparing and cooking HyLife meat products, adhering to service and safety guidelines.
• Managing inventory, sales, and wastage records, assisting in budget development.
• Working closely with management to plan, prepare, and serve food that showcases the superior quality of HyLife pork.
• Supporting marketing initiatives to promote HyLife pork.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• Food Service Program or Certification Preferred
• Supervisory experience in a commercial restaurant setting.
• Restaurant and service experience with French Technique is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on food and workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively in team settings and independently.
• Proficiency in setting tables and providing service to commercial restaurant standards.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
