Overview
Our Steinbach location is currently looking for an experienced Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our high performing service team. In this role, you will perform basic/complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment.
The wage range for this position is $32.31 - $38.00 / hour dependent on qualification and experience; also comes with an employee purchase program, comprehensive health and dental benefits, disability and life insurance benefits and a group RRSP program. Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to use computer to support diagnostics
- Excellent problem solving ability
Required Experience:
- Certificate of training in a discipline related to tasks as described in NOC 72401, plus 3 - 5 Years Experience
- Completion of an apprenticeship program in one of the following trades is an asset:
- Agricultural Equipment Technician
- Heavy Duty Mechanic
- Diesel Mechanic
- Completion of John Deere certification or willingness to undertake
- Driver’s license and clear abstract
- Language of work: English
