Overview
Eddie’s Gravel Supply Ltd., located in Winnipeg Beach, MB is looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic or Journeyman Red seal certified mechanic.
Duties include but not limited to: service, maintenance and repair work of trucks, trailers and other construction equipment, diagnosis of mechanical problems, and servicing customer owned equipment. Call out and field repair. This will include general maintenance and welding as well as other duties as assigned. Managing daily shop duties and assigning task to shop technicians, ordering/pricing parts.
Experience in hydraulics, electronics and diagnostic skills an asset. This is a full-time permanent position Monday to
Friday, day shift or night shift available.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Must be physically fit and able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Have a valid class 5 driver’s license
• Have own means of transportation to travel to and from Winnipeg Beach daily
• Being able to perform and sign off on heavy truck and trailer safeties an asset.
• Able to work day and night shifts of 8-10 hrs and occasional weekend
• Class 1 license an asset.
