Overview

The Brandon Area Community Foundation is seeking a dynamic, community-focused Executive Director to lead the Foundation’s operations, advance its mission, and strengthen its impact.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and strategic direction of the Foundation.
This role requires a skilled relationship-builder with strong financial acumen, governance experience, and a passion for philanthropy and community development.

Qualifications

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬
. Proven leadership experience in the nonprofit, charitable, or community sector
. Strong community connections and relationship-building skills
. Demonstrated experience with governance, boards, and committees
. Financial literacy, including the ability to interpret financial statements
. Fund development and donor stewardship experience
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Strategic thinker with strong organizational and management abilities
. Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage complex responsibilities
. Ability to effectively use social media and digital platforms to enhance communications, promote initiatives, and support community engagement.
. Strong understanding of philanthropy and its role in community wellbeing
