WORK and LIVE in the heart of Riding Mountain National Park this
summer, while building your baking skills in a high volume, professional bakery.
The Whitehouse Bakery, located in the townsite of Wasagaming, Manitoba (Clear Lake), has seasonal full-time positions available in our Bakery.
We are an iconic, fast paced, 70 seat restaurant and to-go bakery, serving our famous Cinnamon Buns and many other popular items.

- Freshly producing approximately One Million Cinnamon buns annually, our bakery offers an unmatched opportunity to develop speed, consistency, organization, and confidence in a real production environment. You won’t just observe — your work will matter every day.

- Ideal candidates will have completed or be enrolled in the Pastry or Culinary/Pastry program and are eager to learn, contribute and grow.
-Positions run from May through September, with flexibility to accommodate school schedules and co-op programs.
-Successful candidates will work 40 hours per week, participating in all stages of production, from mixing and shaping to baking and finishing. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to high-volume workflow and professional standards.
-Our bakery operates daily from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with two consecutive days off per week. All shifts are daytime, leaving plenty of time to enjoy summer in the National Park.
-Compensation is above industry standard and negotiable, with the potential for contracted or returning seasonal roles for strong performers.
-Brand-new, fully furnished on-site accommodations are available just steps from work and the townsite of Wasagaming. Each suite includes a full kitchen and bathroom and is available for single or double occupancy.
