Long Plain Little Hands Head Start – Aboriginal Head Start (AHS) Program
We are seeking two passionate ECE II educators to join our community centered team and support culturally grounded, play based learning for children ages 3–5.

🎨 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate, play based programming
• Lead creative activities: storytelling, music, art, field trips, dramatic play
• Maintain a safe, healthy, welcoming classroom environment
• Observe and support children’s developmental needs, communicating with families & staff
• Assist with daily routines including dressing, eating, and self care
• Build strong relationships with coworkers and community service providers
Qualifications
Qualifications
• Manitoba ECE II or ECE III classification
• First Aid & CPR Level C
• Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Persons Search & Child Abuse Registry Check
• Strong teamwork, leadership, communication skills
• Knowledge of play based learning & child development
