Overview

Crescent Financial Group is an established financial planning firm based in Winnipeg, MB. We are seeking a full‑time Investment Assistant to join our team and support the accurate processing, review, and follow‑up of trades, transfers, and other transactions across a range of investment accounts.
Key Responsibilities
 Process and review investment transactions, including trades, transfers, and account maintenance, ensuring accuracy and timely completion across registered and non-registered accounts.
 Follow up on completed trades and transfers to confirm execution, resolve deficiencies, and ensure all documentation meets internal and compliance requirements.
 Prepare and organize client meeting materials, investment paperwork, and supporting documentation as requested by advisors.
 Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential client files, ensuring records are complete, up to date, and secure.
 Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date CRM records, ensuring client information, account details, notes, and documentation are recorded consistently to support advisor workflow, compliance, and client service.
 Respond to general client and advisor inquiries related to investment accounts and transactions, providing informed, professional, and timely support.
 Collaborate with advisors and internal team members to coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and support special projects or events as required.
 Support compliance and quality control by exercising a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality in all work.
 Remain current on firm policies, procedures, and investment processing requirements through ongoing training and professional development.
 Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the investment team.

Qualifications

Qualifications
 Post-secondary education in in a relevant discipline, or 2+ years of relevant experience
 Familiarity with compliance‑driven workflows and audits an asset
 Prior experience in financial services or investment administration an asset
Skills
 Exceptional attention to detail with strong quality control and follow‑through
 Organization & time management in a deadline‑driven environment
 Professional communication skills, written and verbal
 Client service mindset with the ability to respond clearly and courteously to inquiries
 Confidentiality & compliance awareness when handling sensitive client information
 Technology proficiency, including Microsoft Office and financial systems
 Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
