Are you a student, looking for a seasonal position that may turn into a part-time job come mid-October? Are you fun, energetic, love attention to detail, always looking for things to do and enjoy working as part of a team? Then you have found the right place to apply. Brandon Riverbank Inc. is looking for someone who can multi-task, work great with others, not afraid to roll up their sleeves and loves learning new skills!
As this position is partially funded by a grant, you are required to be a student between the ages of 18 and 30 and be a Canadian citizen.
We understand how short our summer season is; therefore, we provide you with 35 to 40 hours of work one week and 20 to 25 hours the next, so you receive the enjoyment of every other weekend off. Now if that doesn’t sound enticing, I don’t know what does!
Brandon Riverbank Inc. is a non-profit organization, and we are also home to Brandon Tourism. As part of Brandon Tourism, you will have the opportunity to share what Brandon has to offer and get to meet travellers from all over the world. You’ll find many locals, human and fury alike, who love walking our paths providing you with the opportunity to share updates on what’s happening at the Centre and on our grounds.
Although this position is mostly stationed inside the Centre, we also rent kayaks and canoes through A & L’s rental centre, so you will have the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the amazing summer weather!
So if working with a plethora of people, learning new skills and assisting others is your idea of summer fun, please send us your cover letter, explaining your experience and interest in the position as well as your resume to: [email protected] or mail: Attention to Dawn Riddle, #1 – 545 Conservation Drive, Brandon, MB R7A 7L8.
