WHAT DOES A CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN DO?

The Construction Foreman will lead and supervise a skilled team in roofing, cement finishing, drywall installation, glazing, insulating, and painting.

Supervise and schedule activities of construction workers and subcontractors
Establish methods to meet project deadlines and coordinate with other teams
Resolve work issues and recommend solutions to improve productivity and quality
Requisition materials and supplies for the job
Train the team in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
Prepare work progress reports
Supervise apprentices, helpers, and laborers

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO US?
5 years of experience in a foreman role would be an asset
A journeyperson in Carpentry would be an asset
Customer service skills
A valid driver’s license is required
May require overnight travel based on project demands
