What Zenith is looking for:

Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on heavy-duty equipment/trucks
Perform preventative maintenance and routine service on equipment and vehicles.
Consult and follow established manufacturer's service literature and guidelines for proper testing, repair and maintenance of trucks
Inspect and diagnose cause of failure with proper equipment to perform repairs or adjustments
Properly document cause and correction for all concerns listed on repair order as the work is completed
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.
Collaborate with operators and supervisors to identify equipment issues and provide solutions.
Working Conditions

Shop and field-based work; exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Physically demanding role including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and traffic.
Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak construction season.
All other duties assigned from Shop Superintendent or Management
Wages: As per signed union contract

Qualifications

Qualifications

Experience in the Heavy-Duty industry or related experience
Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience working on heavy construction or roadbuilding equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 1 or 3 an asset).
Strong safety awareness and ability to work in outdoor construction environments.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, sometimes under pressure in fast-paced conditions.
