Heavy-Duty Mechanic

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy, medium, and light-duty vehicles and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, air brakes, drivetrains, and other mechanical systems.
- Service and repair construction equipment, trucks, trailers, hydrovacs, directional drills, excavators, skid steers, and similar equipment.
- Perform welding, fabrication, hydraulic repairs, component rebuilds, and trailer repairs as required.
- Complete field and emergency repairs, including travel to equipment and job sites when needed.
- Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, schematics, and manufacturer specifications to identify and resolve issues.
- Source and order parts and maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
- Prioritize repairs and work efficiently to minimize equipment downtime.
- Communicate repair needs and equipment conditions to management and operators.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company and COR safety requirements.

Requirements:
- Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Able to handle a wide variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Experience with construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and other fleet equipment is an asset
- Ability to travel for field repairs and troubleshooting as required
