Assiniboine College, in partnership with the Construction Association of Rural Manitoba (CARM), will host the 5th annual Trades Summit, taking place Tuesday, March 23, 2027, at Assiniboine’s Len Evans Centre for Trades and Technology at the North Hill Campus in Brandon.

Following another highly successful event last year, we are excited to welcome high school students back for an immersive, hands-on experience through our Try-a-Trade workshops, as well as an employer tradeshow, where they can learn about careers in the trades, apprenticeship pathways, and more.

Students will explore a variety of areas, including:

  • Carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Heavy Duty Mechanics
  • Automotive
  • Power Engineering
  • Welding
  • And more!
