RITZ Machine Works is expanding and we're looking for multiple Welders to join our team!
This position is responsible for producing high-quality welded components in a fast-paced production environment using TIG, MIG, robotic MIG, spot welding, and silver soldering techniques. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, the ability to interpret drawings and work orders, and a strong commitment to safety, and quality.
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Day Shift - 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (Monday to Thursday)
Night Shift - 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM (Monday to Thursday)
Qualifications
Responsibilities Include:
- TIG, MIG, spot welding and silver soldering
- Robotic MIG – main responsibilities (training provided)
- Achieve/maintain CWB certification for specific weld joints
- Work safely with consistent speed and accuracy in a production environment
- Interpret part drawings and work order documents
- Record time spent and quantity produced in shop floor tracking software
- Measure and inspect parts produced per prescribed inspections
- Crosstrain in other departments to suit varying production demands
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous welding experience (preferably proficient with TIG welding)
- Certification/education in welding is considered an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
