Overview
The Opportunity:
Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), one of Canada’s leading conservation organizations, is looking for a confident, energetic and dedicated professional to join our Engineering Team. In this position, you will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating the acquisition of materials, heavy equipment and labour required to install water control structures on our many wetland conservation projects. You will have the survey skills required to layout the project sites and construct the works to specified lines and grades and applicable specifications. Your CAD skills will help you in developing construction drawings needed to guide our construction work. You possess strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You are self-motivated, enjoy a complex, changing environment and can manage numerous projects on tight deadlines. Your three years of experience in the construction industry and demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD drafting will make you the ideal candidate for this position, which is based from our dog-friendly office in Brandon, Manitoba.
