Overview
Bayshore is looking for passionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurses to join our amazing team. You will use your clinical skills to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality home health care, they need and deserve delivered with compassion, excellence and reliability, in the comfort and safety of their homes.
Qualifications
• An LPN Certification with registration in good standing
• Experience and proficiency with IV starts including recent experience in the last 2-6 months
• ACLS is required. If the nurse does not have ACLS, he or she will need to complete a course within 2 months of hire. Bayshore offers continuing education support for our staff
• Good interpersonal skills, good computer skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience performing routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice as defined by the provincial licensing body
• Perform specialized nursing procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
• Consistent access to a vehicle
• Consistent access to and be able to effectively use a recent smartphone (iPhone 5 / Android 4.4 or newer)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation
