THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Parts Counter Person, you will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians in obtaining required parts and supplies while achieving monthly sales targets through encouraging parts sales.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Promote sale of parts and accessories to all customers: walk-in, telephone or internal technicians
• Provide exceptional customer service to maximum customer satisfaction
• Keep abreast of all new products and updates through continuous learning
• Locate all parts as requested by customers and/or technicians
• Prepare parts invoices and credit notes for all counter sales and issues parts for all work orders
• Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining stock
• Accurately document all shipping and receiving of parts
• Maintain files and update parts related information on a regular basis

Qualifications

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Post-secondary diploma with specialization in sales or trade certification preferred
• 2+ years related experience in truck parts sales or completion of trades certification or related diploma and demonstrated interested in a career in parts and service
• Prior parts counter sales experience or parts/warehousing knowledge is an asset
• Intermediate computer skills, MS Suite of products and/or the ability to learn new software applications and tools
• Great interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to work with others and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to self-manage time and set priorities while handling multiple responsibilities
• Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
