Based in Brandon and reporting to the Team Lead, Network Services, Network Analysts have a primary responsibility for the design, implementation, and operation of both the access and transport networks that are used to provide services to our members. Westman Communication Group has a converged network that is involved in the delivery of internet and data services, voice services, video services, our two radio stations, as well as the corporate IT services.

The incumbent in this position is expected to have a highly functional understanding of basic and advanced routing protocols and networking standards along with the basic knowledge of the fiber transport networks. In addition, we expect the Network Analyst to quickly get familiar with all other systems used in Network Services group to deliver triple play service to the customer base. Those systems include Core and Access network components, IT infrastructure, VoIP telephony currently but, they keep evolving with the technical changes in these domains.
