Agricultural Equipment Technician
Overview
Our Portage la Prairie location is currently looking for an experienced Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our high performing service team. In this role, you will be performing basic/complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment.

Required Skills:
- Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of agricultural equipment/outdoor power equipment.
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Ability to use computer to support diagnostics
- Excellent problem solving ability
- Good customer service skills
- Safe work practices
Qualifications
- High school completion or equivalent GED
- Journeyperson certification – completion of 4 year Ag Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship or equivalent experience (will consider Level 3)
- Completion of John Deere certification or willingness to undertake
- Driver’s license and clear abstract
