Sewer & Water Chargehand

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 Grade 12, G.E.D. or Mature High School Diploma;
 Possess a valid and subsisting Class 3 with Air Manitoba’s Driver’s License;
 Hold Class 1 & 2 Certification in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection;
 Hold Class 3 Certification in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection or obtain within 12 months of appointment;
 Hold Class 4 Certification in Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection or obtain within 12 months of appointment if currently hold Class 3 Certification, obtain within 24 months of appointment if currently hold Class 2 Certification;
 Required to obtain all certifications required by provincial regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
 Post-secondary education;
 Experience working with collective agreements or corporate policies an asset;
 Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in similar operations;
 Experience and knowledge of equipment similar to that found in the Utilities section;
 Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling and budgeting.
