What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Crop Supplies Manager, the Agronomist demonstrates, executes, and advises on a wide variety of agronomic services to our customers and promotes the sale of chemical, seed, fertilizer, custom application, and crop input services. Consults with producers on agronomic issues and challenges and be able to provide solutions. The Agronomist uses acquired knowledge to establish credibility and to develop ongoing, profitable sales relationships with the Co-operative’s customers. Contributes to the overall success of the agro team through mentorship, support and cross promotion of agro services and products.

Qualifications

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in the Ag sector and have:
• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture
• 3-6 years of agronomy and/or relevant experience
• Class 5 driver’s license
• Completion of either CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) or Manitoba Institute of Agronomist (MIA). Training and Certification is available for successful candidates.
