Watershed District Technician Assistant
Overview
Focus on:
GIS/Microsoft Office computer skills
Land surveying (transit/laser/total station)
General Duties:
Assist with CD programs such as well capping and shock chlorinating wells
Transport equipment and assist landowners with Shelterbelt Planting
Collection of water samples
Conduct site inspections for program eligibility
Willing to work with a minimum of supervision or as a team
Capable of carrying heavy loads, up to 50 lbs. (Bentonite or sand)
Planning and organizational skills
Qualifications
Experience with Conservation or farm work
Must possess a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License
