Ecological Farm Apprenticeship (PAID)

Overview

6 Job opportunities on 6 different farms across South Western Manitoba. Plus more opportunities on 23 different farms from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba who are all involved in the Young Agrarian Apprenticeship Program.
Grow your farming skills and join the Young Agrarians community of support!
THE APPRENTICESHIP DETAILS:
Educational and work experience on small scale ecological, organic, or regenerative farms. Each farm offers different skills and has different aspects ranging from beekeeping, cattle, pigs, poultry, and sheep to gardening and food storage to soil health, pasture management and even mechanics and carpentry. The apprentice will work with the mentor to create a skills checklist (skills they want to learn and the mentor can offer during the apprenticeship). The apprentice will participate in the education and labor on the farm, learning in both ways.
Apprentices will be in a learning cohort with the other apprentices from all the farms and field trips and farm tours will happen in addition to their on-farm mentorship.
